Additional work

During my Quake Live adventure I’ve done some additional work on maps made by other people. I helped to develope few maps for Quake Live, by creating new textures for them, rebuilding the maps, and getting them ready for release. I did that as voluntary service, meaning it was unpaid job.

Gothic Rage

Original author of the map is Ryan “Quaker-X” Rutherford. The most demanding part of the work was to clean up the structures, what meant pretty much re-building it totally. During the development of this map some additional work was done by Rich “swelt” Jacques.

Responsibility: Layout improvement, construction clean up, texturing, lighting, finishing adjustments.

Realm of Steel Rats

Map was created by Jens Bergensten, and most people can know it as Cpm4 map. It’s classic tdm map. Once again my task was to bring the map to common Quake Live quality level, meaning improvement of the structures and change of the theme. Again swelt took map after me and made further finishing changes.

Responsibility: Layout improvement, construction clean up, texturing, lighting, finishing adjustments.

Textures

While working with Quake Live maps, I’ve created many new textures. You can see them in most new Quake Live levels.
